What are Math and Science?
Mathematics refers to the study of numbers and their operations, as well as of abstractions and space. Earth science is a broad term referring to the sciences involved in the study of the Earth, and physical science refers to the sciences that study the nature of energy and matter.
Engineering as a Field
Consider all of the things that have been constructed in our world: houses, cars and reclining chairs; playground equipment, technical camping tents and tennis shoes; chemical compounds, electronic devices and farm equipment. The construction of each of these things and a plethora of others has, at some point, required the wisdom, knowledge, and guidance of an engineer. The field of engineering then is as broad as the sky is vast.
Engineers specialize in particular types of design—structural, mechanical and electronic, to name a few—and they work in a variety of capacities. Environmental engineers, for example, work to find solutions to pressing environmental problems. Civil engineers, for example, plan and design the development of infrastructure projects. Biomedical, marine, and materials engineers, for example, analyze and design medicine, build and maintain sea vessels, and design, develop, and test a range of products. Any product you can think of required or requires the brilliance, ingenuity, and skilled input of an engineer. If you are someone who has always been curious about how things are built or has always wanted to invent and design new products, the field of engineering might be a perfect field for you.

The Department of Biology offers graduate study leading to the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees.
The University of Warwick has more than 4000 graduate students in its graduate school, and offers more than 90 taught Master's programmes, as well as PhDs in all academic departments.
The basic philosophy of this department is to study the complex and mysterious phenomena of life through the use and improvements of modern molecular biological methods.
The M.S. in Biology program is enhanced by NAU-Flagstaff's location in northern Arizona, where you’ll discover an environment conducive to both academic and personal development.
The doctoral program at Meharry leads to an interdisciplinary Ph.D. focused on molecular approaches for research and research training.
The program generally requires 32 credit hours of course work consisting of core requirements in pharmacology, cancer therapeutics, oncology, and biochemistry, while allowing for specialization in suc

The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy offers programs leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees. Areas of concentration are cell biology, developmental biology, and neurobiology.
The Biomedical Sciences program is designed as a full or part-time evening program for the student seeking an advanced degree in preparation for professional school (medical, dental, or veterinary) or
Students can major in biochemistry or biophysics, or in one of several interdepartmental majors.
The graduate program offers strengths in the following areas: cell and developmental biology, genetics, evolution and neurobiology.
While studying Biological Sciences you will gain in-depth knowledge in your chosen area of biology while being introduced to related disciplines.
Program of Study: The graduate program of the department offers the M.S. And Ph.D. Degrees in biology.
The recent elucidation of the genomes of many organisms has lead to the appreciation that our knowledge of the function of the proteome and other "omes" of any given organism is far from complete.
