What are Math and Science?
Mathematics refers to the study of numbers and their operations, as well as of abstractions and space. Earth science is a broad term referring to the sciences involved in the study of the Earth, and physical science refers to the sciences that study the nature of energy and matter.
Engineering as a Field
Consider all of the things that have been constructed in our world: houses, cars and reclining chairs; playground equipment, technical camping tents and tennis shoes; chemical compounds, electronic devices and farm equipment. The construction of each of these things and a plethora of others has, at some point, required the wisdom, knowledge, and guidance of an engineer. The field of engineering then is as broad as the sky is vast.
Engineers specialize in particular types of design—structural, mechanical and electronic, to name a few—and they work in a variety of capacities. Environmental engineers, for example, work to find solutions to pressing environmental problems. Civil engineers, for example, plan and design the development of infrastructure projects. Biomedical, marine, and materials engineers, for example, analyze and design medicine, build and maintain sea vessels, and design, develop, and test a range of products. Any product you can think of required or requires the brilliance, ingenuity, and skilled input of an engineer. If you are someone who has always been curious about how things are built or has always wanted to invent and design new products, the field of engineering might be a perfect field for you.

The Department of Biological Sciences offers graduate programs leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in biology. The M.S. degree requires 36 credits beyond the B.S. degree; the Ph.D.
Graduate students in the Biology Department must elect one of five degree options: the Master of Science with or without a thesis, the Master of Arts, the Master of Education with a major in Biology o
The Department offers classes in taxonomy, morphology, microbiology and other areas to teach and study basic biological concepts such as variation, homology, metabolism, heredity and other phenomena o
This is a 120-credit programme (including 85 credits allocated to preparation, performance and writing up of a research project).
Eight courses are required for the master's degree, including the thesis. Laboratories are well instrumented for graduate research in the areas listed above.

The MSc/Diploma in Medical Molecular Genetics provides students, whose backgrounds lie in non-clinical areas, with emphasis on the application of modern molecular techniques in medical genetics.
The(MCB) Program is a research-oriented, interdisciplinary graduate program. The student's program consists of research, seminars, colloquia, formal course work, and a thesis or dissertation.
The Department of Biological Sciences provides interested students a broad range of facilities for instruction and research in the various subdisciplines of biology.
The Oral Biology Program encourages applications from promising students seeking either the M.S. or the Ph.D. who intend to pursue careers in research and teaching.
The Department of Human Genetics offers an MSc. (non-thesis) in Genetic Counselling.
The Biology Institute at Leiden University has a number of highly recognised research specialisations in evolution and molecular biology.
The graduate program provides students with a solid and comprehensive background in the field of biological sciences, including molecular biology, cell biology, physiology, genetics, microbiology, hum
The M.S. in Biology program at UCA offers advanced training in research skills and breadth of learning in biology and related fields.
The International Students Office is the contact point for international students interested in studying at the University of Western Australia.
The Department of Biology is diversified so that a student can obtain a graduate degree with an emphasis in molecular biology, microbiology, neurobiology, general biology, or science education.
